Thankfully, the rain stayed away as our community gathered together to celebrate the long awaited Grand Opening of The Link!
Matt Digges was our Master of Ceremonies introducing a Welcome to Country by Auntie Jenny, followed by words from Michael Darragh CEO, a blessing by Father Michael ( and Zippy) and a great presentation by George Hoad AM, ambassador for National Gardening week.
We were fortunate to have the Giingan Dancers and a smoking ceremony to follow the speeches, then we enjoyed some music by the Coffs Harbour Men’s Shed Band.
Thank you to all who contributed, volunteered, and attended, it was truly a wonderful beginning.
The Link is now officially open to the public Monday to Saturday 9am to 3pm.
