Today is the end of Carnival (farewell meat), also celebrated as Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday), and Shrove Tuesday.
It is traditionally a time to use up eggs and dairy products before the 40-day Lenten fast begins on Ash Wednesday.
So what better time to invite our Sawtell Catholic Care family of residents, friends, staff and volunteers for a pancake breakfast?
