COVID UPDATE 26.10.2022

Dear Families, Residents, and Staff,

Following the recent changes to isolation rules in the community we have confirmed Covid positive cases amongst our residents. The affected residents are continuing to receive high quality care.

As always, the COVID-19 management and testing regime for the houses currently effected will continue to be guided by the Public Health Unit over the coming days and into next week.

I would like to acknowledge our wonderful staff who live our mission by actively serving our community with Christian compassion.

To our residents I am once again reminded of their resilience, pragmatism and community spirit. I’m sure many of us by now have experienced COVID-19 isolation or know someone close to us who has. It is difficult to say the least and I am constantly amazed by the fortitude and understanding shown by our residents in these situations.

To our families, again I extend my thanks.

Please share with family and friends who may not be on our mailing list.

Please note - All visitors are to have a negative Rapid Antigen test result prior to entry and sign the attendance register upon entry and exit of the facility.

Kind Regards

Mercy Kurinyepa
