Marian Grove residents enjoy a range of activities available in the Recreation Centre each week. These include carpet bowls, snooker, tai chi, table tennis, bingo and cards.
A library is located within the Recreation Centre and books covering a wide range of topics are available to borrow.
The Recreation Centre may also be used by residents for special occasions/celebrations.
Beside the Recreation Centre is a well equipped workshop that caters for residents’ hobbies and interests.
The “Marian Grove Forest Walk” provides an opportunity for bushwalking through a forest and wetland habitat.
Residents are provided with a twenty-four hour emergency call system and a Care Services Team provides health, welfare and spiritual support.
Free transport is available to take residents to appointments and shopping. This service is supported by a wonderful team of volunteers.
A “Residents’ Newsletter” full of information about activities, outings and other matters of interest is published monthly.
“Villa Maria” self care units are located in close proximity to and are part of the Marian Grove community. |
