Respite Accommodation for both High and Low Care Residents is available at Mater Christi in blocks of two weeks preferably.
Longer or shorter periods may be negotiated at the Facility Manager’s discretion.
Bookings are made through the Commonwealth Carer Respite Centre ph: 02 6568 4164.
- Before admission You must contact Mater Christi on 0266586133 to arrange collection of admission paperwork.
- If applicable you will be asked to pay a $100.00 deposit to cover late cancellation.
- Check that your 30/20 is current
- Make an appointment with your GP – to obtain a medication chart, history and prescriptions needed while you are in respite
- All Medications need to be in Webster packs for the period of respite.
- Return Admission papers, Medical History, medication charts and if possible Webster packs to Mater Christi BEFORE admission.
What You Should Bring -
- Clothing – labelled clearly
- Any aids that you would normally use ie. Walker, hearing aids, again, labelled clearly.
- Your Pension, Medicare, DVA card, and Health Insurance details if applicable.
